What I'm About
My career path for over 30 years as a Physical Therapist provided me with ways to fulfill my gifts of compassion and healing. And though I am still licensed and use that knowledge and expertise in my health coaching practice, my focus now embraces much more than the physical body. I attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2014 and expanded my knowledge of nutrition, causes of food related inflammation and other deterrents to healing. During it all, I’ve been interested in the part our mind plays and the ways we sabotage our efforts, in everything from our fitness goals to our relationships with others. It’s all part of the big picture, and when we get to the root of our limiting beliefs or negative self talk, the rest becomes easier.
Once we focus on what brings us joy and let go of fear, beautiful things happen.
My ideal weight is maintained, my chronic pain controlled naturally, I sleep restfully and have much less anxiety than I have in the past. It has involved getting the right support, asking for help and being true to my authentic self. Learning to be easier on myself has been a crucial turning point, and remembering to play has been magical.

I love long hikes with my husband, hours spent in my garden, sharing time with my family, precious friends, and walks with my grand dog. It is that balance that brings me peace. I have realized much joy in my roles as wife, Mom, sister, Meme, friend, and Physical Therapist, but have also recognized my purpose is more vast. It’s my desire to inspire and encourage all of you to love yourselves, embrace & implement knowledge to become a more empowered woman. Live your life to it’s fullest, each day with passion and joy, fearless and guiltless, leaving your foot print forever in the sand.
