How do you INTEND to start out the New Year?  Would you like to begin the year feeling joyful, rested and ready to take on whatever may come?  I believe in order to feel this way, it has nothing to do with setting goals, resolutions or starting a diet.  It starts with inner JOY,  and not just the holiday cheer we sing about. 

You've been taking care of others all year, and no doubt the holidays will be the icing on the cake in over commitments, compromising and simply crashing at the end of it all.

What you need perhaps, is something to look forward to when the kids go back to school, the family leaves, the decorations are all boxed up, BEFORE  the January  blues creep in.   How about some FUN in the SUN, some Playing with Purpose? 

Healthy Transformations cordially invites you to Oro Valley, AZ Jan. 2nd-6th for our 3rd Play with Purpose Retreat.  It's an opportunity to learn about the culture of the southwest, experience new foods, and enjoy the beauty of the desert.  Of course, all activities are optional, but we hope you'll join us on daily tours to top destinations near Tucson.

Airfare is NOT included:  There are two flights arriving/returning mid day on Delta or Alaska, and I would encourage you to book your flight immediately before they go up in price.  Remember  to use those miles and book Tues/Wed for the best deals.  Perhaps you have family or friends in the area and would like to extend your trip.  Be sure to let me know if you will need transportation to/from the airport.

I too enjoyed the retreat atmosphere and time to rest and reflect. In such a busy world its important to change it up away from the noise and whatever else may be happening in your world. The sun was out and the breeze was chill as autumn slowed us down enough to truly appreciate the beauty of where we live and the love that surrounds us. ~ Kathryn

The plan for Leavenworth included:

  1. Sleep in & awaken to a healthy breakfast (cooked my me!)
  2. Daily easy-moderate hikes (or choose to read, rest, or journal)
  3. Stroll beautiful Leavenworth, enjoy some wine tasting and shopping
  4. A hosted evening meal (non alcoholic beverages provided)
  5. Evening enrichment activities (optional)
  6. Massage on site (extra fee required)
  7. Daily led yoga (optional & included in price)

I think we accomplished all that beautifully!
